About the Program

SIA is a curbside recyclables purchaser. Our drivers pick up glass bottles, aluminum cans, and plastic bottles from consumers, brings them back to our facilities and negotiates pricing with local recyclers. We then split the profits with the end consumer. Because we work with such volume we are often able to pay close to what the consumer would have gotten had they just taken their recyclables in themselves.

Our commitment to the community does not stop there however and so we have designed a fundraising opportunity that many groups have already taken advantage of. With our program your group can raise money, close the loop on recycling, and help people make extra money after your fundraiser is complete.

Once your group is approved, people can sign up and choose you your group from their options. SIA will contact the customer and set them up for our home recycling pickup. The money that SIA would normally pay to the end consumer is instead given to you for the duration of your fundraising campaign. Once your campaign is over the people who signed up will be able to continue the program and begin to receive money on their own. If your program starts up again, they can simply change their funding option to pay you again on a regular basis.

As 9 out of 10 people discard their recyclables without making money for it, you can now raise money for your fundraiser, close the loop on recycling, and help stimulate the local economy without asking people to make an additional sacrifice.
